Y8 Refractor Clear Microprism
Microprism has been designed to offer best performance with both LED and T5 fluorescent light sources. With well-engineered luminaires, Microprism can provide excellent outputs, reduce lamp imaging, and improve glare control. YPP Microprism is available as Y8 Refractor and Y17 Clear Acrylic.
Y8 Refractor is a new acrylic material for lighting diffusers. It is pearl in appearance and is suitable for use in modern and high finish architectural commercial buildings.

Description
A six sided Microprism with prism height of 1.2mm and distance between peaks of between 2mm and 3mm depending on direction viewed.
Quality
Acrylic material used in Y8 and Y17 meets or exceeds recognised standards.
Under normal interior conditions these lenses will perform satisfactorily for 20 years.
Y8 and Y17 is manufactured from 100% Acrylic (Polymethylmethacrylate). Flammability Rating-UL94 HB.
Performance
With well-engineered LED commercial office luminaires, outputs of > 97 lumens per watt and a UGR of 19 can be achieved.
